Life Review
Conducting a life review enables us to know who we truly are. We look for the patterns and themes that have flavored our lives. We look for the paradigm shifts we’ve made, our fears and foibles. We face the naked true of what we’ve done, left undone and how it has shaped us. We examine familial dynamics, formative years, the environment and geographic location where we were born, our schooling and formal education, the historical context of the decades we’ve lived.
We reminisce over the loves we’ve lost and the ones we’ve found. We revisit the many iterations of self. We remember and in the process of remembering, we reveal ourselves to ourselves. Our reward for this deep work is that we let the world see who we truly are. There is no judgement, no editing, right nor wrong.
We look back to learn, evaluate, integrate and accept. We look back to live forward.
